Indian Summer - Powerboat Training in September and October

It looks like we have a real Indian Summer and the water will stay warm until the end of October. The good news is that we are making the most of this great weather so do call if you want a refresher session - 4 or 5 hours works really well this time of year.

We have extended our training season this year to end of October. We can organise anything from short Own Boat or One To One sessions to RYA Level 1 and Level 2 courses. See latest dates for RYA Level 2 & ICC Courses

September and October will be great months to be out in Christchurch Bay – we hope that you manage to get afloat and enjoy this unusually balmy weather.

High astronomic tides, also known as extreme spring tides, will be at their greatest range over the next 18 months. This is because September 2015 is the point in a natural 19 year cycle when the sun, moon and earth align to exert the greatest force on the tides in the UK.

Significant high natural tides will occur along all parts of the UK coastline on October 9th & 10th. Exposed sandbars will show you exactly where the Christchurch Harbour channel is at low tide!

See you on the water!!
